Romans 8:28-29 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
Thank You, Lord, for calling us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Many of us can remember a time when we didn’t know You personally and didn’t live according to Your Word. We chased after whatever seemed right in our own eyes, following the values of the world instead of seeking Your will. We were spiritually lost and didn’t even realize how much we needed You. Thank You for calling us to Yourself and saving our souls, and for Your grace and mercy that reached us and gave us new life through Christ Jesus.
Lord, we are grateful for the day, the moment, and the hour when You revealed Yourself to our hearts. You gave us a new direction, a new purpose, and a better way to live. In You we find peace when life is stressful, hope when the future seems uncertain, forgiveness when we fail, and a purpose greater than ourselves. The life You offer is richer and more meaningful than anything this world can provide.
Lord, when You called us to salvation, You called us away from sin, selfishness, destructive choices, and rebellion against You. Today we pray for victory over attitudes and behaviors that don’t honor You—those things that still linger from our old way of life. Help us turn away from old habits and patterns that pull us away from Your best for our lives.
Lord, fill our hearts, our thoughts, our conversations, and our actions with love, truth, wisdom, and compassion. May the way we live point others to Christ and show them the difference You make in a person’s life. We love You, honor You, and desire to live for You. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and praise. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
