Matthew 7:24-25 24. Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. Dear Jesus, You are our Solid Rock—the sure foundation that needs no adjustment, cannot be moved, and will never be swept away. When the winds of adversity blow without ceasing and circumstances feel overwhelming, You remain our anchor and the steady security of our lives. And when the road ahead appears hidden, You are our Compass, faithfully leading us toward certain victory. Holy God, You are trustworthy, reliable, and true. In You we always find hope, strength, and peace. As this year swiftly draws to a close and we prepare to enter a new season, we pray for resilient faith and unshakable trust in You. Lord, only You love us with an everlasting love. Only You hold our best interests in Your hands and in Your heart, knowing and providing for our every need according to Your abundant riches in glory. And You alone define and accomplish our successes according to Your sovereign will and divine purpose. Loving and following You, Lord, is the greatest privilege and joy of our lives. Gracious and Merciful God, help us grow ever more in love with You. Lead us to higher levels of obedience, deeper dimensions of trust, and stronger, more enduring faith. Lord, we surrender all to You. In Jesus’ Name we pray and give thanks. Amen.
