What He Values

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.

Father God, in our culture, people often admire the wealthy, influential, and beautiful—leaving many of us feeling unseen and overlooked. In the world’s foolish and faulty estimation, we may be told we’re not the right color, not attractive enough, or lack the right background. Too often, we spend our lives trying to “measure up” to standards that constantly change.

But Lord, You see differently. You choose the faithful—those who don’t define themselves by beauty, credentials, or ability—for Your divine purposes. You look for hearts that walk by faith, relying on Your strength, and through them You display Your incomparable power and sovereign rule. We don’t have to be naturally capable; we simply have to be willing. You accomplish great things through ordinary, even weak, vessels like us. You use us powerfully, often in unseen places and unnoticed moments.

Gracious Father, thank You for never overlooking us. Thank You for choosing to work through us to make a difference in the lives of others. Today, may we serve You by serving those who are ignored and forgotten. Help us to be faithful in every act of love and service. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
