John 7:37-39
37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Father God, thank You for securing and guaranteeing our successful journey through life. And You accomplish it by the work of Your Holy Spirit, who lives in the heart of every believer. Thank You Lord, for His strength, anointing power and His work of peace in our lives. Thank You that He is faithful to empower, indwell, seal, baptize and keep us until the “day of Jesus Christ.”
Throughout our earthly journey, you are present with us. And through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, You are guiding us along the way and molding us into the image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Lord, You never leave us to ourselves; nor do You ever forsake us. And as the Holy Spirit called us to salvation and works in us through sanctification; You are faithful to bring our earthly journey to a victorious end. Master, there is victory in Jesus! Through Your power and the work of Your Spirit, we have victory. That is fact!
Today we pray for The Living Water, who is the Holy Spirit, to pour afresh in our parched and dry hearts. Lord we are thirsty for more of You. Let our minds become satiated with Your truths; our hearts become filled with Your love; our lips overflow with Your praises; and our hands freely dispense Your grace. Holy God, we long for The Refreshing Water that energizes, encourages and equips us for our journey. We lean on Your promises and abide in Your love because You are our God. Glory, Hallelujah! Thank You Lord. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
