Psalm 23:1-3 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul
Father God, thank You for being our guide; walking with us and enabling us to journey safely on roads we never thought we’d have to travel. We discovered all we need do is walk with You to discover the certain way to victory, peace and contentment. Holy God, You are our Divine Shepherd, and because of You- we shall not want.
We confess our paths are not always easy; we’ve found many rough places during our journey. But You, oh Lord, promised to never leave us nor forsake us; You are with us each step of the way. You are the great “I AM”, the Sovereign God with all power in Your hands. And Your presence assures us we will make it through our stormy days; we will “get home before the dark.” Holy God, our trials affirm Your faithfulness, loyal love and divine provision; as You use our good and the bad days to achieve Your eternal purposes.
Help us now oh Lord, to seek Your direction and will for our lives. This morning we pray for You to guide us to that tranquil place of assurance and joy; the place where we are not bound nor overcome by the cares of this life. “ Our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and His righteousness… on Christ the solid rock I stand, all other grounds is sinking sand” Lord we faithfully stand on The Rock and follow Your lead. In Jesus Name we pray and give thanks. Amen.
