This is the Day

Psalm 118:24  This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Father God, life doesn’t always go the way we hope. Sometimes we face disappointments, uncertainty, stress, and challenges that seem bigger than we are. Yet even in those moments, we can take comfort in knowing that You are still in control. Nothing catches You by surprise, and nothing can separate us from Your love. When we can’t see the way forward, You are already there, guiding our steps and working things out according to Your good purposes.

Lord, even though we don’t always understand why certain things happen, we trust that You are using every season of life to help us grow and become more like Jesus. The struggles we face can strengthen our faith, deepen our character, and teach us to depend on You. Remind us that our hope is not found in our abilities, our plans, or our circumstances, but in You. Give us the courage to keep moving forward, knowing that You will provide the strength we need for each day.

Today, we choose hope. We choose to trust that You are at work even when we cannot see it. Thank You for another day to walk with You, to experience Your grace, and to discover new opportunities You place before us. Help us to live with confidence, joy, and faith, believing that You have a purpose for our lives and that Your plans are good. No matter what comes our way, we know that You are with us, and because of that, we can face the future with hope. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
