My Desire is for You

Psalm 37:4-6 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
Gracious God, as we draw near to You, we find peace and satisfaction in our relationship with You. It doesn’t matter what others may think, say, or do—we take delight in You. If they must, let the critics criticize, the liars lie, and the gossipers gossip. But Lord, we desire what You desire for us and find contentment in Your plan and provision for our lives. In a world that always seems to be demanding more, help us remember that what we have in You is enough. Our completion is in You alone.
Holy God, when we grow where You plant us, we are exactly where we should be, doing what You have called us to do. And we find that when what we have is all You intend for us, we have all we need. When we fulfill Your purpose for our lives, we experience a success that brings true peace and lasting satisfaction. We discover that Your grace is sufficient, Your mercy is everlasting, and Your truth endures forever. Then Lord, we find the spiritual strength to rejoice in You always and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus.
Master, as we journey through our days in Jesus’ Name, may we walk in Your presence, bask in the sunshine of Your love, and radiate Your light for all to see. Thank You for being our Heavenly Father, the Sovereign God over all creation. Thank You for providing the strength, courage, resources, and power that carry us through every season of life. Holy God, thank You for the assurance that we will make it. Lord, You are our guarantee. Thank You. Lord, we worship You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
