Psalm 18:1-3 I love You, O Lord, my strength. 2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.
Holy God, we can always rejoice in You—the God of our salvation, our loving Father who never leaves nor forsakes us. Merciful Father, You are our strength, our refuge, our sustainer, and our deliverer. You continually envelop us in Your grace and mercy and cut through our darkness with the brilliance of Your love. You keep our lamps burning and turn our shadows into light. Lord, we trust that You are with us through every circumstance, at all times—even now.
Merciful Father, help us hold on to our faith in Your goodness and loving care, even when we cannot sense Your presence. When trouble seems to surround us on every side, remind us that even in the darkness we can always find Jesus, and that Your power replaces the weakness in our trembling hearts. Give us confident hope and trust in Your provision and protection, and the assurance that in You we can face anything that comes our way. Yes, Lord, we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.
Father in heaven, whether we are enduring unpredictable storms or enjoying the stillness after the rain, Your peace illuminates our path. We come to understand that even Your redirection is direction. You continually guide us toward the path that is best for us, even when it does not seem so at first. Lord, we rest in Your will and praise Your holy and righteous name at all times. Lord, You are good—all the time, You are good. In Jesus’ name we pray, with thanksgiving and praise. Amen.
