No Time For Hate

Matthew 5:43-48 You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.” But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.
Precious Savior, as we draw close to You, may we find the spiritual nourishment that empowers us to remain fruitful and multiply. Today, I pray that our lives radiate Your grace and mercy as never before. Let Your love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, and kindness pour from us as we walk by faith and not by sight. May we enrich every life we touch and advance Your Kingdom purposes on earth as it is in heaven.
Holy God, guard our hearts and minds so we are not distracted by the foolishness of this world or enticed by the desires of the flesh. Keep us from sinful anger, jealousy, bitterness, and wrath. Help us refuse vain arguments, avoid obscene speech, and stay far from gossip. Strengthen us to walk with humility and honor, standing firm in Your righteousness throughout this day and all the days to come.
Lord, let us please You in all we do—speaking the words You give us, going where You direct us, and serving those You have ordained for us to serve. May every part of our being reflect the love of the Gospel and the truth of Your divine Word. Let our lives bring You glory and honor. From the four corners of the earth, may Your Name be praised. In Jesus’ Name we pray and give thanks. Amen.
