Never Alone

Zachariah 10: 11-12 11  And they will pass through the sea of distress And He will strike the waves in the sea, So that all the depths of the Nile will dry up; And the pride of Assyria will be brought down, And the scepter of Egypt will depart. 12  And I will strengthen them in the Lord, And in His name they will walk,” declares the Lord.

Father God, each of us experiences times when our troubles and worries make us feel far from You. At times, that sense of distance may result from poor choices, unconfessed sin, or a reluctance to walk in Your will and way. At other times, it may arise from hardships beyond our control, seasons of grief, disappointment, confusion, or suffering. It may come through neglect of Your Word or the absence of regular worship and fellowship. Whatever the cause, we thank You that You never leave us nor forsake us. You are always present, guiding us through every trial and drawing us back to the assurance that we are safe in Your loving arms.

Heavenly Father, during those spiritual dry spells, when You seem distant and the burdens of life obscure our view of You, help us to be honest before You about our struggles, fears, and pain. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the truth of Your holy Word, and the power of sincere prayer, bring relief, renewal, and revival to the depths of our souls.

Lord, as we surrender our troubles, doubts, and confusion to You, we find the hope and strength needed to endure difficult seasons. Remind us that You are always standing at the door of our hearts, knocking and waiting for us to open the door and welcome You in. Your desire is to draw near to those who feel far away—not for condemnation, but for communion; not for rejection, but for restoration.

Gracious God, You reign in holiness, and You are faithful to deliver. The cross of Calvary assures us of Your unfailing love and Your abiding presence in our lives. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for rekindling the flame of our faith and renewing our trust in You. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers according to Your perfect will. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
