Genesis 41:51- 52 51 Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: “For God has made me forget all my toil and all my father’s house.” 52 And the name of the second he called Ephraim: “For God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
Holy Father when trouble comes our way; we are strengthened, restored, and placed in position to show Your surpassing glory as never before. During trying times You provide greater measures of spiritual strength; Increased wisdom; and all we need to be tried and true Kingdom citizens. Lord, even the most challenging circumstances become fertile grounds and opportunities through which You sanctify us and bless many others. Lord, Your love and power never change. And Your work on our behalf never ceases. Oh God, Great is Your faithfulness.
Gracious God, You have ways of bringing about unexpected blessings during times when all hope seems lost. You shower us with Your love; even when others neglect and fail us. Lord, You make us fruitful in the land of our suffering; resilient in the face of adversity; and content during times when resources are meager. You are constantly working good on our behalf; even in the middle of distressing circumstances.
Almighty God, let us share our stories and show the downtrodden that You always produce good; even in the worst of times. Lord, we praise You and rejoice in the certainty that nothing is too hard for You! Thank You for Your perfect faithfulness that is on display throughout our life stories. Thank You for being our God today and through all eternity. Thank You Lord. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
