Mark 3:13
13 And He went up on the mountain and summoned those whom He Himself wanted, and they came to Him.
Heavenly Father, we are grateful for the bountiful love You have for us. Not one of us is too “bad” to be redeemed by Your love; too lost to be found by Your love; or too insignificant and obscure to be noticed by Your eyes and heart of love. When the world ignores and marginalizes us, You call us by name and give us power to walk in the beauty of Your holiness. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, You continue drawing us closer and closer to You. MY GOD - NOW THAT’S LOVE!
Lord, You loved us just as we were when You found us. We were a “mess”; confused; steeped in rebellion; lost in our pride; and dead in our trespasses and sins. But You found us anyway, picked us up and gave us new lives in Christ Jesus. You cleaned and continue to clean our hearts; gave and continue to give us new perspectives; and empowered and continue to empower us to endure the journey.
Lord, every day is a day during which we should give You thanks. No matter our condition or circumstances, we can declare Your goodness, love and mercy in or lives. Today and all of our days to come, we begin by acknowledging we can’t live without You; and we don’t want to waste time trying. We love You Lord. And we thank You for salvation; the gift available to all who trust in Jesus. Our hearts say thank You for saving our wretched souls. Thank You for Your love that fills our souls now and even for ever more. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
