Have a Blessed Day

Psalm 118:21-24

I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Father God, we are grateful that day after day You allow us to witness Your mighty works. In the middle of wilderness experiences, and while we are yet in life’s desert storms; You continue to do great things. We are those who see Your goodness and share it with a world wrapped in pain and negativity. We are Your living sacrifices; those You bless over and over again. And in turn, we bless others.

Heavenly Father, day after day You allow the sun to shine, birds to sing and the mighty oak trees to stand. If we are reading this message, it’s because You woke us up to experience a new day; with breathing in our lungs, sight in our eyes and a heart to draw close to You. Merciful Father, You continue to expand our understanding of spiritual things and constantly remind us of how precious we are in Your sight. You created us to stand in Your strength, be filled with Your love, and to accomplish Your Kingdom Purposes. You are God Almighty.

Lord God, this is a blessed day. It is a new opportunity to honor You with our love; serve You with our obedience; and trust You with all of our hearts. Please guide us through the hours ahead: keep our minds stayed on You; harness our tongues for good and not harm; and direct our paths to the places where we can worship You with the fruit of our labor. This morning we rejoice as we recognize and acknowledge Your excellent works. Thank You Lord.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
