Did You Pray For Them?

ree

Luke 6:27–28 But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.

God, help us to love even when it’s hard — when people ignore us, talk behind our backs, or just don’t show love in return. Just like You loved us when we didn’t deserve it, teach us to show that same kind of grace and mercy to others. Remind us that sometimes the person who hurt us most is the one who needs kindness the most. Give us strength through Your Holy Spirit to walk and talk in love, even when our feelings say otherwise.

Lord, in every space we walk into — at home, work, church, or online — stir our hearts to do what’s right and good. Help us handle tough relationships with patience and faith instead of frustration. It’s like when we try to keep a light shining in a dark room — sometimes it’s tiring, but that light makes a difference. Let our kindness and integrity stand out, even when no one seems to notice.

Father, help us find real joy in simply obeying You, not in how people react to us. Teach us to care more about what You think than what others say. Let our lives be like mirrors reflecting Your love — so when others see us, they see a glimpse of You. In everything we do, may Your name be lifted up and honored, because You alone deserve it. Holy God, You alone are our Righteousness. And our hallelujah belongs to You.  In Jesus Name. Amen.
