Desperate

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Lord God, thank You for meeting us at our points of need.  When we cry out to You in prayer, You hear us and answer.  As we move toward You, You come to us; freeing us from our fears and healing our souls’ diseases.  Lord, You bless us with all we need to experience victory in the storms of life, strength during our moments of weakness and peace in the middle of chaos.

Gracious God, today we’re not hiding from our feelings or running from our problems. Rather, we boldly enter Your throne-room of grace and mercy.  We come with our gaping wounds; hurt feelings; confused minds; ailing bodies; and other overwhelming issues. And we lay them at Your feet.  Lord, we surrender our brokenness to Your divine and all-sufficient care. As we gain spiritual strength to abandon our cares to You, we find Your peace and wisdom for our journey.  

Loving God, we look to You with great satisfaction and assurance  because we sense Your abiding love; see Your mighty works; and trust Your will and way for our lives.   Without pretense, we come as we are; confident that in You we find all we need.  Now we wait patiently in faith as You work in time to achieve Your eternal purposes.  Holy God, we are confident that You do good all the time; because ‘GOOD’ is who You are.  We trust You Lord. In Jesus Name we pray and give thanks.  Amen.
