It's Still Day

John 9:4 We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.

Gracious God, the dawning of a new day is a miracle, and every breath we take is a gift from You. What a blessed privilege it is to awaken this morning and find ourselves yet in the land of the living. We ask now for Your guidance, grace, and strength, that we might dedicate this day—and every day—to doing Your will, speaking Your truth, and serving as faithful followers of Christ.

Lord God, each day is a gift from Your gracious hand and merciful heart. We do not deserve the blessing of a new day, nor have we proven ourselves worthy of it, yet You give it to us in love. Empower us to live this day in Your strength, obedient to all You command, and help us recognize today as a fresh opportunity to advance Your Kingdom on earth, even as it is in heaven.

We thank You, Master, for choosing us and blessing us with the gift of today—for new beginnings, fresh mercy, and second chances. May we walk in Your holy presence, fulfill Your divine purposes, and bear witness to Your mighty power. With grateful hearts, we surrender ourselves to Your divine use, for Your holy purposes and by Your surpassing strength. Holy, righteous, and mighty is Your Name. In Jesus’ name, we pray and give thanks. Amen.
