REVELATION 22 :17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
Father God, thank you for bidding us to come to you without fear or hesitation. When our hearts are quiet, we are able to hear your voice inviting us to draw near and reassuring us of Your everlasting love. Heavenly Father, we’ve come to realize that approaching You requires no great effort on our part; it is simply yielding rather than resisting the magnetic pull of your great love. As we come close to You, we discover Your love is the only love that never falters and never fails; it is both now and forever. And it completely satisfies our hungry souls.
Lord, please take away any inclination to struggle against You. And please eliminate the rebellious spirit that steers us to thoughts, activities and companions that are displeasing in Your sight. This morning we pray for the spiritual strength and conviction to open ourselves to your gentle presence and receive the fullness of Your Spirit in our hearts. And May we stand in Your grace and the strength of The Holy Spirit to do that which is righteous, holy and pleasing in Your sight.
Lord, Your vast ocean of love cannot be explained or measured, but it can be experienced. Our hearts’ desire is to experience the width, length, height and depth of your boundless love. Please Lord, let it be so. In Jesus Name. Amen.
