Romans 5:8-9 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
Lord God, thank You for the sufficiency of Your grace, love and mercy that sustain us now through eternity. As we journey through the struggles in this life, we quickly realize the cares of the world are too much for us to bear alone. But when we turn to You, we find we can endure all things through Christ’s strength and the power of the Holy Spirit. We can look at the challenges in life and know with certainty that You are all we need to make it through. And if we have You-that’s more than enough.
Father God, You sustained our lives when we were yet in our mothers’ wombs; and You keep our lives today. Yesterday, today and tomorrow - You are the same. You keep our minds when it seems that we are certainly losing them. You comfort and mend our broken hearts when tragedy, grief and sorrow rip them apart. Master, as You walk with us through the best and the worst of times; You prove over and again, there is nothing too hard for You. And nothing can change Your great love for us.
Lord, we continue through this day and every day with hearts of thanksgiving, devotion and praise. Thank You for caring for our broken lives. Thank you for bringing order to our confused minds. And thank You for Your loyal love that sustains us now through eternity. You are God Almighty in Whom we trust; and through Whom we find peace. Lord, we thank You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
